open door worship
I’m learning that worship doesn’t just “happen”. It happens on purpose. I have to decide to worship. I have to decide to make my Father smile…to worship.
This is the same for our team -- the Open Door Worship and Arts Department. We worship on purpose. We work hard on purpose. We commit to excellence on purpose.

To be a part of our team, you obviously commit to more than the regular church attendee. You commit to excellence. But what an honor to serve the body of Christ. The rewards are countless. So…I invite you to join our world -- and to be changed by our worship!
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME?
You need to be an active member of our church and you must complete our leadership training course. Contact our office for more information.
You need to be willing to make a one-year commitment (unless committing to a seasonal project, such as a musical, etc).
You will be expected to attend all regular scheduled services; our annual camp meeting (second week in august), as well as our camp meeting preparation Saturday practice.
You will also be expected to attend our annual winter retreat and our summer arts institute. Check out www.exodusretreat.com for more information.
On stage, you must dress professional and appropriate -- NO low cut / or above knee, etc. Also, there are special occasions when a specific dress code is enforced (such as all black, etc.)
You need to be at all practices -- prepared and on time! All new music is available online: www.opendoorohio.com/worship
Our Practice Schedule is as Follows:
Tuesday & Wednesday:
6:30 PM All Departments (main aud)
Sunday:
8:30 AM Band (main stage) 9:30 AM Choir (choir room) 10:00 AM Main Service
If you have to miss a practice, you need to call our office or your team leader, as soon as possible. Also, you will need to sit out the following service. If our practice schedule becomes an ongoing problem, you will need to schedule an appointment with Pastor Stan or your team leader.
